Ideally situated in Travis County, Windermere Homeowners’ Association (WHOA) is a beautiful community located in Pflugerville, Texas, and is located 18 miles north of Austin. It is centrally located between Austin and Round Rock. Pflugerville is family-friendly, safe, and a good place to live. The best part of WHOA is the people. They are some of the most friendly and welcoming people in Texas. It is peaceful with quiet neighborhoods, and many great places to visit during day trips. WHOA comprises 1,871 homes with a community swimming pool, playground, tennis courts, and a basketball court. Pflugerville is known for being stuck between a rock and a weird place (Round Rock and Austin).  

 

• WHOA is a neighborhood of 1,871 homes served by an association organized in 1981.  

• The board is comprised of 8-10 volunteers who manage the affairs of the association. Board members serve three-year terms on a rotating schedule whereby up to three positions become available yearly.   

• The primary focus of the association is to serve the homeowners and maintain the common areas. The bylaws seek also to promote fellowship in the neighborhood through social functions. New ideas for social gatherings and volunteerism are always welcome!

Every homeowner in Windermere Homeowners’ Association (WHOA) is a member of the association, allowing you to annually vote to elect your HOA Board members. As a member of the HOA, you will pay annual dues (“assessments”) to help maintain the WHOA common areas and meet the requirements outlined in the WHOA governing documents. Assessments are billed annually and due on January 1 of each year. If full payment of each year’s assessment is not posted to your account by January 31, late fees will accrue. You may reference the association’s governing documents posted under the “Documentation” section of the website for more details on assessments. As a member of the association, you are also required to conform to the association’s Covenants, Codes & Restrictions (CC&Rs) policies. Violation of any of the CC&Rs may result in violation fines posted to your account. WHOA works closely with the City of Pflugerville departments, the Pflugerville police department, and our community to improve the quality of life for all residents in the community. Your annual assessments and donations help us increase neighborhood security awareness; communicate important information on local, city, and state issues through our neighborhood communication system; purchase, plant, and maintain new parkway trees; and preserve our urban tree canopy, the community pool, and playground; as well as host special events for residents. We welcome you to become an active member of the community by volunteering to serve on committees.
